Driven clay shooting

Sim game days across the whole Lackford Estate, near Bury St Edmunds. Run by Eriswell Lodge.

A driven day, with clays in place of game. Pegs drawn from a hat, four drives over the estate's woods and fields, elevenses in the field and lunch to finish. The days are run and booked by Eriswell Lodge, who bring the traps, the targets and the hospitality.

What is driven simulated game?

Simulated game shooting takes the shape of a driven game day and fills it with clays. Guns stand at numbered pegs while targets come over them drive by drive, high and crossing, the way a bird would.

There's no score to keep, and no winners or losers unless you want them. The day is about good targets, good ground and good company. It costs far less than a game day, and the estate can be shot outside the game season.
